Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III turned out to be what many feared: a DLC of sorts for the previous title, developed by Infinity Ward. While fans of arcade games and fast-paced multiplayer shooters will undoubtedly enjoy the experience, Sledgehammer Games has done little more than focus on the nostalgia effect and a few notable innovations, creating an uninteresting and barely adequate campaign.

Overall, it’s a weak Call of Duty, but the multiplayer will keep fans entertained for months… Just ignore the campaign unless you have a free day to kill it.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is a game built on other games, a hybrid that tries to convince even the most seasoned fans with its fantastic multiplayer mode. However, neither the tributes nor the “innovations” of the campaign and zombies can disguise the obvious. This game is nothing short of wild recycling.

Trying to present the DLC as a full-fledged AAA game would be a huge blow to Modern Warfare 3’s single-player and multiplayer experience, causing you to quickly forget about the newness.

Modern Warfare 3 offers nothing more than incredibly smooth multiplayer and a dose of nostalgia. The game feels incomplete, often boring and disappointing in many areas.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is one of the worst games of the year and proof that it’s really time for Activision to take a long break. It’s a shame that a series with such a rich history is treated this way.

This year’s COD is a sloppy expansion masquerading as a sequel and a clumsy way to celebrate the series’ 20th anniversary.

Part DLC and part Warzone knockoff. This is not only the worst Call Of Duty game ever made, but also one of the most cynical games of all time.

Such a poor quality Call of Duty game released ten years ago would have been a scandal. Now it’s a symbol of access to a series in desperate need of an update.
