Publisher Ziggurat Interactive recently announced plans for a re-release. Event “Boiling Point: Road to Hell”, which is considered one of the first open-world first-person action games. Just today, that plan became a reality as the game was released for digital distribution on Steam and GOG.
This happened more than 18 years after the release of the original game, which, thanks to the then physical edition with Czech localization here she also found fans. However, due to severe technical problems, high hardware requirements, and competition in the form of the first Far Cry, the game was not a significant success either critically or in terms of sales. Boiling Point: Road to Hell is available on the websites of both mentioned digital stores for less than 9 euros.
