Alan Wake 2 rave reviews

Developers from the Finnish studio Remedy published a thirty-second laudatory trailer in which they get high marks and selected quotes from reviews by the latter Alan Wake. One of the top contenders for game of the year, it boasts an average rating of 88% on aggregator Metacritic, which is exceptionally consistent among professional critics and casual users. At the same time, the game was nominated for “Game of the Year” in eight different categories in the prestigious poll of The Game Awards.

We awarded the game in our review absolute rating 10/10 with the following verdict: “A sequel that is a testament to how far Remedy has come in 13 years. Alan Wake 2 is an unconventional and truly unique experience in many ways, combining a strong story, innovation in game mechanics, and truly top-notch visuals. And all this in a presentation that is not “just” a video game, as it often transcends the imaginary boundaries of that medium.”
