Isonzo, the first-person tactical action game based on the battle between Italy and Austria-Hungary during World War I, has received a new free expansion. You’ll also be able to try out the game on Steam this weekend.
The new addition is called White War and moves through fierce fighting towards and around the “Ice City”, a vast network of tunnels carved into the ice of the Marmolada Glacier. Marmolada is a mountain with a height of 3343 meters, the highest in the Italian Dolomites. In addition to enemies, soldiers will have to face the harsh alpine climate.
Along with the Marmolada card, there are new weapons and a new cosmetic pack focused on cold weather gear.
The developers from the BlackMill Games studio (they also created the game Verdun) thus took care of another interesting place of the First World War, which receives insufficient attention in games.
Multiplayer action game Isonzo is available for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
