Developers from a Spanish studio Pendulum they warned players about the state of the adventure game Tintin Reporter: Pharaoh’s Cigars even before its release today. The title, based on the famous comic strip by Belgian writer Hergé, was not published in the form in which the authors would have liked, but there was no postponement.
“Despite our best efforts, players who open the game at launch will not be able to enjoy the game as we intended. We are committed to quickly rectifying this situation: we will deliver the necessary patches in the coming weeks, while all our channels will remain available in case you want to report any issue directly to us,” the developers wrote.
“We are determined to do justice to the famous reporter and bring joy to you as a player. We will not stop until we reach our goal,” they add, thanking them for their support and patience.
