On the one hand, we can say that this is a logical situation that happens more than once due to the fact that the name is simply not attractive in the long term. However, in this case, it seems that the problem is primarily due to the countless negative steps leading to the removal of community cards, many bugs, and the lack of achievements that are often quite significant for players.
How many players actually left? In just one month, 184,000 players “disappeared” from the active base, which represents a fairly significant decrease. That’s up to 18.85%, according to SteamCharts. However, it must be said that despite the departure of some players, Counter Strike 2 has a relatively strong base. Moreover, Valve predicts a bright future for the game, so perhaps they are right.
