Developers from Brno-based studio Ashborne Games are currently finalizing development of the highly anticipated real-time strategy game Last Train Home, in which you will take on the role of commander of the Czechoslovak legionnaires. At the beginning of October, the game already received a demo version, thanks to which you could try out a certain passage for free.
New authors they announced and immediately on Steam released an updated version of this demo, which contains a number of fixes and improvements. Changes should be noticeable in general optimizations related to frame rate and the addition of support for the older DirectX 11 interface, which is more suitable for owners of less powerful systems. The balance of equipment and resources has also been adjusted. However, the developers also focused on overall stability and bug fixes.
As a bonus, it was added to the demo in its entirety new sabotage feature, thanks to which your soldiers will be able to quietly destroy enemy equipment in the form of howitzers, field guns and heavy machine guns. You can read a full overview of the changes directly on Steam. The full version of Last Train Home will be released on PC on November 28th.
