If you’re expecting a cartoonish explosion of imagination that doesn’t make sense, you’re wrong. You will play the game from first-person view and you will probably die. The title is formatted like fantasy roguelitewhich is heavily inspired by classic fantasy RPGs such as Dungeons and dragons. On top of that, as kids (or your parents) volunteering for cartoons on a Saturday at 6 a.m., you’ll find out what inspired the developers.
You can enjoy the game either for yourself or you can enjoy it with two other partners and go together to explore dangerous dungeons full of enemies, traps and treasures. There will also be powerful weapons, magic and some items that you will find as you progress through each level. But be careful! It’s a roguelite title, which means that if you or your gang die, you lose all loot and the room changes without any communication.

In the game itself, you will have a choice of four characters: Rico – Charming lattice Maggie – wise witch Hawkins – deadly hunter and Victoria – a brave knight. For now, there are only four options to choose from, but according to the developer, we can expect more options in the future. In addition, Beamdog plans to split the huge amount of content into smaller patches that will be added to the game every month.
Early Access opens April 20th exclusively on the Epic Games Store.
