For example, fans are calling for Take-Two Interactive to be purchased., which owns Rockstar Games along with Grand Theft Auto. Take-Two is valued at approximately $24.6 billion. Or the proposed acquisition of Bandai Namco worth about $13.5 billion. Other analysts do not expect such large investments. For example, Carole Severin from Midia Research considers such a move unlikely. He said Sony should rather take advantage of its strong position in film, TV, games and music and come up with a new subscription offering., which could better compete with Xbox Game Pass. According to him, it will be increasingly difficult for Sony to compete with Microsoft only in games.
