Austin’s Certain Affinity studio probably won’t remember you completely because of a certain name. The company, founded in 2006 by former Bungie employees, is focused primarily on helping other teams. Developers have worked on games like Left 4 Dead, Doom (2016) or the Halo series. And that’s exactly what the new report that the studio itself came up with.
According to Certain Affinity, he is deepening his collaboration with 343 Industries, the studio behind the Halo series and, of course, the latest episode subtitled Infinite. Although we have not received more information from an official source, the details were given by journalist Jez Corden from Windows Central magazine. He claims that the developers are working on an entirely new game mode for Halo Infinite, codenamed Tatanka. According to Corden, this could be a variation on the battle royale genre.
Certain Affinity has been working with Microsoft for a long time and is developing a brand new game called Project Suerte. We wrote about it in January of this year, it is said to be inspired by Capcom’s Monster Hunter RPG series.
