Total War: Pharaoh is not doing well with its players

Total War: Pharaoh already had problems with how the gaming community around the Total War series received it even before its release. The latest stats from the Steam database show that this game will struggle in the long run. Apparently, this new game has fewer players than Total War: Rome 2 from a decade ago. Although Rome had about 6,000 conquerors most of the time, only 4,000 of them were captured by Egypt. In addition, the reality is that there is much more interest in Rome 2 than in the new AAA representative of the historical branch. And we’re not even talking about how successful it was when it hit the scene, with over 118,000 players participating in the Siege of Carthage at one point, compared to only 5,000 in the case of the Fight for Egypt.

Whether Total War: Pharaoh will be able to get out of this situation is a question. But the probability is low. In theory, a mythological expansion could help, so hopefully that will happen. We are working on a review and will present it to you in the next few days.
