With less than two weeks left until the release of the highly anticipated sequel to Alan Wake, the marketing campaign is coming to an end. And while we already know most of the important things, Remedy creative director Sam Lake revealed some pretty interesting information at the EGX event currently taking place in London.
They found out We know that Remedy is preparing additional content that will be available for free to all owners of the base game later after release. Lake hasn’t gone into detail yet, but he says these DLCs are quite important, so it probably won’t just be cosmetic additions and the like, we’ll have to be surprised. In addition, we have known for a long time that there are two paid expansions for the game called Night Springs and Lake House.

That said, Remedy has a long history of tweeting short captions for important characters. The specific characters that Remedy presents are the main couple (F.B.I. Anderson Saga and writer Alan Wake), FBI agent Alex Caseywho should appear both in reality and in the Dark Place (this is a character from Alan’s books, who is also a kind of “echo” of Max Payne), the new sheriff of the town of Bright Falls Destroyer Team (cousin of Sarah Breaker), FBC agent Kieran Estevezwho is in charge of the situation in Bright Falls, or an FBI agent Robert Nightingalewhich you may already know from the first episode.
