Sony starts streaming PS5 games from the cloud

Today Sony announced a new feature for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers on the official PlayStation blog. In particular, speaking about ability to stream current PS5 games from the cloud, which has been talked about for a long time. According to Sony, in the future the catalog of games that can be played through the cloud should include hundreds of titles.

On the day this news came out games like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, Mortal Kombat 11 or Saints Row IV, which are available in the PS Plus library. There will also be trials for some games such as Hogwarts Legacy, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt or The Calisto Protocol. But you’ll also be able to play games from your own library via the cloud, which will initially include Resident Evil 4, Dead Island 2, Genshin Impact, Fall Guys and Fortnite.

As for quality, Sony promises. support up to 4K resolution. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, cloud gaming will be available to PS Plus Premium subscribers from October 23.
