Although Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard is still was not officially closed and is currently awaiting final approval from the British authorities, who were the last to block the acquisition, so all indications are that it is only a matter of time before a positive view of the entire deal is reached.

This is also evidenced by recently published message, which appeared on Activision Blizzard’s social networks. It openly talks about the possible appearance of games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III or Diablo IV on Game Pass. Once the deal closes, Activision will work with Xbox to bring its games to even more players around the world. At the very end of the report it is mentioned that games from Activision Blizzard should have started streaming on Game Pass starting next year.

It is currently impossible to 100% confirm whether this will also apply to both of the aforementioned first wave games. However, it is clear that if the entire acquisition can indeed be completed soon, then Game Pass subscribers will not have to complain about the lack of new games next year.
