Late last week we informed you about the gradual reduction in the number of players for the Redfall event, resulting in the title only a few players played. But surprisingly without prior notice, the developers at Arkane Austin subsequently released a major free update.
First of all, he added a performance mode on the Xbox Series X/S console, which allows you to play at 60 frames per second. The PC version also received optimization improvements. The authors have further expanded the possibilities of user settings on the gamepad and added some accessibility elements.
The changes also affected the gameplay itself. For example, it is worth noting the addition of a new attack that allows you to silently kill enemies from an ambush. This should represent another important innovation overall. more vampires in some areas, which thanks to this should not make such an empty impression. Other elements of the combat system or environmental processing have also undergone partial changes. You can read a full overview of changes and news on the official website.
Although this is a significant update in terms of improvements, on the other hand does not carry any significant content news, which the developers promised both to regular players and especially to owners of the more expensive Bite Back edition. So the developers still have some work to do to deliver on their early promises. Redfall is available on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X/S and Xbox/PC Game Pass.
Game Update 2 is live now and adds performance mode for Xbox Series X|S, improved PC performance, stealth kills, a host of new controller tweaks, more open world encounters, and a host of other changes to Redfall.
