Payday 3 definitely doesn’t have the most ideal start. While I personally didn’t experience any issues prior to release, the game received a lot of criticism from players shortly after due to server stability and several other playability factors. If you belong to the group that is waiting for the next patches to fix some bugs, we have some bad news for you today. It looks like there won’t be a major update any time soon. It was postponed. The developers now hope to release it to their community in mid-October, but the exact release date is unknown, so it is possible that there will be a delay in trying to iron out as many shortcomings as possible at once.
However, on October 10 there will be a temporary server shutdown, so you will not be able to play due to the need to be constantly online. Payday 3 is currently experiencing a rocky start, causing the game to only have 39% positive reviews on Steam. Whether the authors will be able to correct the situation is a question, but they are certainly trying to do so.
