Sony teases a trailer for the second adventure of protagonist Aloy, who continues to save the world and fight machines and other tribes. He highlights very positive reviews of the game, as well as the expansion, and quotes various game servers.

“From the epic storyline through various cliffs, valleys, deep lakes or oceans, to the exceptional vehicle design and clever character upgrade system. Zero Dawn’s evolution is more enjoyable to play, enemy AI on higher difficulties will challenge experienced players for hours, and the 60 fps gives the combat a flavor that I missed at 30 fps when I reviewed Horizon Zero Dawn.” we wrote/talked about Horizon: Forbidden West.

“Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is one of those expansions that makes you want to play. The expansion will tell you a great story that will serve well as an epilogue to the second part. You’ll grow to like the characters very quickly, but with Seika, you’ll find that the relationship she builds with Aloy is rushed, resulting in artificial dialogue. Seika should be given more space in the story, or the developers should focus more on exploring Los Angeles.” we wrote/talked about Burning Shores.

Horizon Forbidden West has over 8.4 million units sold. Dutch studio Guerrilla Games is developing a new single-player adventure and online game Aloy from this interesting post-apocalyptic world.
