Chris Metzen is a person with whom the World of Warcraft universe is very connected. He is essentially the co-creator of the Warcraft brand, for which he created a number of quality stories before leaving in 2016 to spend more time with his family. He returned to gaming in 2022, when he became a consultant. But apparently this role did not seem enough to him, because now he has taken another big step.
He has taken on the role of executive creative director, a position from which he can really influence a lot. And at least most fans hope that after a series of uninteresting lines, he will finally be able to tell stories worthy of the World of Warcraft universe. Blizzard management is delighted with his return. We hope this will have a positive impact on the future of the Warcraft universe.
