Blizzard has officially taken over Vicarious Visions

Blizzard Activision announced last January that it plans to bring Vicarious Visions to Blizzard. Meanwhile, the creators took part in Diablo 2: Resurrection and the merger was officially completed today.

“We have officially teamed up with Blizzard Entertainment. Our development team will remain in Albany, New York and will be fully committed to Blizzard games. We invite you to follow us at @Blizzard_Ent,” we can read on the official Twitter account of Vicarious Visions.

He works for Vicarious Visions about 200 peoplewhich will focus exclusively on current and future games from Blizzard. It should be not only famous brands like Diablo, Warcraft and Starcraft, but also full-fledged news. As we know, Blizzard is planning several unannounced things, including a brand new Survival.

Vicarious Visions was founded over 30 years ago and has created dozens of games, often licensed for other systems, such as the GBA version of Tony Hawk’s Underground 2. In 2005, Activision bought the company and the developers helped with Skylanders, Guitar Hero, Destiny. and Call of the Void.
