Developers from the Milestone studio released the arcade racing game Hot Wheels Unleashed in September 2021. The game is over positive reviews and stable sales. Ultimately, the game sold over a million copies before the end of the year, making it the Italian team’s best-selling game.
Therefore, it was not such a surprise when in June of this year the developers presented a sequel to the title. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the game will be based on the popular Hot Wheels car license, combined with pure arcade gameplay and extensive track building capabilities. Whether Milestone can succeed a second time with this light-hearted fun for a wide group of players remains to be seen. We’ll find out on October 19when Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged releases on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch consoles.
