Valve is currently celebrating the 20th anniversary of the creation of its digital store Steam, which over the years has become the most visited and the most famous digital games storewhich greatly changed the way computer games were distributed.

But before you jump into this detailed timeline, we must warn you: the dates and facts below are as accurate as our deteriorating memories allow.
