Baldur’s Gate 3 is a hit on PC and also works great on PlayStation 5. The RPG was only released yesterday for the Sony console and should arrive on Xbox Series X/S before the end of the year. Larian studio wants to please the players and plans to implement in the future cross playso PC and console players can play together.
Crossplay was planned from the beginning, but at the same time, the developers knew that it would not be available at launch. According to Michael Dawes, head of publishing, they already have an idea of when they want to go live with cross-play, but they’ll keep that to themselves.
Baldur’s Gate 3 currently offers at least Ability to transfer saved positions between PC and PS5.

He stated that he is busy with the next game, but the team will continue to support Baldur’s Gate 3 with patches and fixes, but for him this path is over from a creative point of view.
As for what the next game might be, Vincke didn’t reveal any details. The Belgian Larian Studios released the series. Divinity and Baldur’s Gate, so we’ll see if they do something completely new. They can easily return to Divinity: Original Sin.
