August sales in Czech game stores

Leading Czech game stores Xzone and JRC have published traditional best selling games and consoles charts for the last month. Below you can see the titles that did the most in August.

Xzone

In Xzone, FromSoftware’s Armored Core VI was the best-selling event, followed by Deck13’s recently released Atlas Fallen RPG. Closes the top three still popular Diablo IV. They could boast worthy sales also old names such as Gran Turismo 7, God of War Ragnarök, Cyberpunk 2077 or Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The second news of August is Atlas Fallen, which lured players to the Czech localization, a large number of pre-order gifts and a successful event.” Representatives of Xzone highlight the success of the first two games.

In the field of consoles, they are again at the forefront put the PlayStation 5 in a version with mechanicsfollowed by Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X. “PlayStation 5 continues to perform well and holds the number one position among the best-selling video game consoles by a margin. JRC

At JRC the rankings were dominated by traditional stars in games such as FIFA 23, Hogwarts Legacy, NHL 23, Grand Theft Auto V and Minecraft. “The best-selling game of August remains FIFA 23. Probably the last time this year. A sequel will be released in late September in the form of EA FC 24. We expect it to surpass FIFU 23 through pre-orders and become the best-selling product in the line just a few days after launch.” describes Piotr Kratochvila for JRC and Smarty.cz.
