Final Fantasy XVI to receive two paid DLCs, PC version in development

More than two months have passed since the release of the role-playing game Final Fantasy XVI, which received a 9 out of 10 in our review. And although there are rumors that Square Enix is unhappy with sales, the developers do not stop there. game yet. Producer Naoki Yoshida in the new video presented what awaits FF16.

As the short trailer showed, the game has already received a free update today, which brings new content, but only cosmetic. It adds alternate outfits for main character Clive Rosfield and other key characters. Now you can also change the shape of the sword. In addition, the update fixes some issues, corrects the balance of the combat system and adds, for example, the ability to disable adaptive triggers or customize controls.

But that’s not all, because Square Enix is preparing two paid story expansions in which we will learn even more about the world of Valistea and its inhabitants.

We have finally received official confirmation of the development of a PC version. Neither the DLC nor the PC version has a release date yet, but according to Yoshida, we should get more details later this year.
