With release star field for owners of more expensive editions, the first comparison. We can see what Bethesda Game Studios Space Expedition looks like on PC as well as Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles.
On both consoles game launched at 30 fps. This is 2160p on Xbox Series X and 1440p on Xbox Series S. In this case, the PC is at 4K at maximum detail using FSR at 1620p. Configuration – Intel Core i9 12900K, GeForce RTX 4080, 32GB DDR5 and NVME M2 SSD.
The comparison confirms earlier information. The developers at Bethesda Game Studios did a very good job of optimizing, although there are some gaps on the Series S, but this is nothing serious. The PC version has better shadows, anisotropic filtering, object rendering distance, and a few minor changes to textures, but the differences from consoles aren’t all that great.
The difference is in the download. The NVME M2 SSD on PC is slightly faster than consoles, and Series X is slightly faster than Series S. Watch the video:
