The first closed beta will begin today at 4pm. Hyenas, a multiplayer shooter game from Creative Assembly. The creators of Alien: Isolation and the Total War series invite players to a test that will last until September 11th. Those who wish can apply on Steam, where it is possible to sign up for a playtest.
Hyenas – high octane action in zero gravity. “Choose which hyena you will play as. Each has a unique weapon, ability, and personality. Form a team of three people and steal valuable goods. All actions take place in the vast Plunderships themed areas. You return from Earth to Mars, stuffed full of goods and waiting for your crew to steal them.” says in a press release.
In Hyenas, you compete against four other heist teams. Your goal is to find and crack the safes and steal enough goods before escaping.. Not only rival players will stand in your way, but also “MURF” – security forces that will protect the precious cargo until the last breath. Once the team has collected enough goods, the Robbery will activate and a VIP extraction point will appear on the map. You have to find him and escape or prevent others from escaping. The team that runs away first wins.
