An internal Sony representative confirmed to us today Czech prices for PlayStation Plus annual plans after the price increase announced yesterday, which affected players around the world.
The price increases for all three PS Plus plans: Essential, Extra and Premium. The price increase is significant. Judge for yourself:
- PlayStation Plus Essential for 12 months: CZK 1880 (previously CZK 1560)
- PlayStation Plus Extra for 12 months: CZK 3280 (previously CZK 2600)
- PlayStation Plus Premium for 12 months: CZK 4,000 (previously CZK 3,120)
As you can see for yourself, Sony no longer adheres to prices at the current rate and raises the price. This is nothing new, it happens in games too, Microsoft’s competitor is no exception.
- PlayStation Plus Essential for 12 months: €71.99 (at the exchange rate of CZK 1735)
- PlayStation Plus Extra for 12 months: 125.99 euros (at the rate of 3036 CZK)
- PlayStation Plus Premium for 12 months: 151.99 euros (depending on the exchange rate (3662 kr)
The previous price was €59.99 for PlayStation Plus Essential, €99.99 for PlayStation Plus Extra and €119.99 for PlayStation Plus Premium.
The new PS Plus annual pricing will go into effect on September 6, 2023. The price for the monthly and three-month options will remain unchanged.
