As the title suggests, Dune: Part Two is a sequel to the excellent film adaptation of Frank Herbert’s book Dune. If you are one of those people who are planning to go to the movies in November to get acquainted with the desert planet Dune, then we are probably going to disappoint you a little today. The film will not be released this year.
The reason for the delay is supposedly the strikes by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA organizations, due to which the actors are not allowed to appear as part of promotions in the press, so they will not be able to participate in press conferences, which of course no one wants, and therefore the release date was simply postponed. After the strikes are over, Timothée Chalamet and other actors will be able to support the film much more actively. The release date for Dune Part Two is set for March 15, 2024 in theaters.
