The horror series “Little Nightmares” will have a third part. At the opening of Gamescom, the assumptions that appeared since the spring of this year were confirmed. The game will release in 2024 and you can play the first demo right away. It also shows that this time the game will allow co-op (or you can enjoy it alone with a computer-controlled partner).
However, the developers from Tarsier Studios, which was bought by Embracer in December 2019, are no longer far behind the third part. So far, the final volume has been released in 2021, but the rights to Little Nightmares are owned by publisher Bandai Namco. Therefore, the people from Supermassive Games, whom you may know from The Dark Pictures series, are working on the sequel. But they also cost the Enhanced Edition of Little Nightmares 2, so they’ve got experience.
The game has now been confirmed to be released on the Xbox, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.
