Chinese players can enjoy the demo Black Myth: Wukong. Others can envy them, check out new gameplay footage and view new screenshots from this interesting RPG inspired by Chinese mythology and the local novel Journey to the West (in our case, the Monkey King). It is supposed to be the first AAA game made in China.
Demo includes three dangerous bosses. Two of them are part of the story, while the third one may be encountered by players while exploring the environment. The first boss is a humanoid tiger monster with strong melee attacks. The other is a gigantic but agile skeleton demon, killing which turns the sky red and causes blood to rain. The secret boss is a humanoid monster that looks like a scorpion. This is a very aggressive opponent, extremely mobile and has a long tail with a sting at the end.
The same enemies can be seen in the new images of this ambitious Chinese project being created in Unreal Engine 5. The protagonist is Sun Wu-kchung, the Monkey King, a monk and warrior wielding a retractable golden staff. , magic and other weapons. He also has three fighting stances and combines light and heavy attacks. The areas are partially open with several paths.
