Final Immortals of Aveum Hardware Requirements Revealed

The release of the “magical shooter” Immortals of Aveum, which belongs to the first wave of games developed on Unreal Engine 5 (using technologies such as Nanite, Lumen or Niagara), is just around the corner, and the developers from the Ascendant studio have now come up with the final requirements of HW . They published the first few months ago but have now added more details.

I must say that they are not at all low. For low detail at 1080p (upscaled from 720p) and 60 FPS, you’ll need a Radeon RX 5700 XT or GeForce RTX 2080 Super graphics card, which is a bit of an odd combination as the 2080 Super is significantly more powerful. Further, the recommended charts make a little more sense, you can see them in the table below. While the jump from High 4K 60 FPS to Ultra 4K 120 FPS (both higher at 1440p) doesn’t really make sense for the cards mentioned, it’s possible the developers just wanted to express that it’s the “ultimate” experience because there’s nothing on the market. more powerful.

You can also see processors that (again, up to the highest settings where the best processors were used) scale relatively as expected. You will also need 16 GB of RAM and 70 GB of disk space, an SSD is recommended.

If you don’t even meet the minimum requirements, don’t worry. The developers say they are currently testing the game on a less powerful rig with a GTX 1070 and an Intel Core i7-8700K, with frame rates hovering around 40fps. They promise to continue to deliver accurate performance for 1080p and 30fps.

But you don’t have to rely on the table alone, the studio has also created a performance measurement tool for the game. It will show you in the settings how much of the “budget” of the total GPU and CPU performance you can still use in order to have an acceptable frame rate. By the way, the overall setup looks quite complicated, and the game supports scaling using both DLSS and FSR 2.

On the console side, the developers are promising 60fps on both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S at “your TV’s maximum resolution,” which is very vague, but suggests 4K on at least PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Scaling has been used here. too, specifically FSR 2, but the creators did not provide further details.

Immortals of Aveum launches August 22 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
