Microsoft continues to strive stop bad behavior and create a harassment- and bully-free environment on Xbox consoles. After the introduction, it became possible to record and send videos from the chat percussion systemwhich is similar to the points system for driver’s licenses.
Microsoft will be very strict. For just one point, which can be obtained for profanity and cheating, the account will be blocked for a day. For eight points, the account will be blocked for 365 days.that is, for one year. Separate offenses will be summed up for a period of six months.. So the scoring can be very fast for some.
All Xbox social features such as messages, events, group chat, multiplayer, and more will be blocked. Single games will work and the person will not lose access to purchased content. However, if “the most serious violations” occur, then Microsoft has the option to completely disable the player from all functions and block access to purchased content.
Microsoft believes that the new system will help players understand the seriousness of their actions. He also revealed that he suspended less than 1% of all players in 2022.
