Good Sailors, a company that has been working in the field of IT communications and application development for more than 20 years, has presented its new project called Gaming Heroes. It is a testing studio focused on the gaming industry that focuses on working with talented individuals with disabilities. For example, members of Gaming Heroes are currently helping the leading Czech studio Warhorse.
“We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion, which allows us to offer a unique perspective on the gaming industry and improve the accessibility of games for all players,” said in this context Philip Molchan of Good Sailors, an IT company that is dedicated to the employment of people with disabilities.
“For example, we help with the design of character conversations in computer games – this is done by a deaf colleague who has a much stronger perception of non-verbal communication. Colleagues with autism spectrum disorders are much better than others at handling and controlling some of the more complex game mechanics. In short, it’s about using a person’s flaw to make him your advantage.” explains Philip Molchan.
