Host Geoff Keighley via his Twitter he revealedi.e. at the event Gamescom Premiere Live will also discover the upcoming action-RPG Black Myth: Wukong, developed by the Chinese studio Game Science. In terms of plot and setting, the title is based on the novel The Monkey King. As for the gameplay itself, the game will focus primarily on mechanics known from the Soulslike genre.
Especially the authors are attracted by a well-developed combat system, over 100 different enemies and challenging boss fights. Unreal Engine 5 will take care of the technical side. Black Myth: Wukong is due out next summer on PC. However, the PC version is also expected to be expanded with options for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
