Lords of the Fallen 2 Coming Next Year for PC and Next Gen

Once you’ve completed Elden Ring, you can slowly prepare your nerves for your next adventure. This time it will not be FromSoftware specialists, but the Polish studio CI Games, which plans to Lords of the Fallen 2.

“Lords of the Fallen 2 is our biggest project yet. We will launch the marketing campaign in the third quarter of this year, with a release scheduled for 2023. The production of the game is proceeding according to plan.” CEO Marek Tyminski told investors.

Fans of the first part of Lords of the Fallen can be glad that the second part has a much larger budget and will only be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The single player experience is key.

Lords of the Fallen came out in 2014 and made no secret of its inspiration from the Dark Souls series from the aforementioned FromSoftware. A sequel was announced the same year, which does not feature Deck13 Interactive (the original writers), but Defiant Studios. But then problems arose in development and an ambitious project was finally taken on by a new internal team called CI Games. Hexworks.

In parallel with Lords of the Fallen 2, CI Gam is preparing another part of the Sniper Ghost Warrior seriesNot surprisingly, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 brought in roughly 61 percent of revenue last year. The company made a profit of PLN 36.81 million and allocated PLN 42 million for the development and marketing of Lords of the Fallen 2.

A third project is being created at CI Games in collaboration with the Czech studio Butfieldswhich prepares hitherto unannounced survival. It will run on Unreal Engine 5.
