The authors of the excellent Rain World release racing action Airframe Ultra.

From the creators of Rain World, most players probably expected that they would give us another 2D adventure game, but this did not happen. Instead, the studio decided to leave the waters behind and create Airframe Ultra, an open-world racing action game set in the distant future. You can go there alone or with a friend. However, under any circumstances, you will race through it not alone, but in the chair of a futuristic hovercraft. They don’t have duels or weapons to help you when your speed is lacking.

According to the information provided so far, Airframe Ultra is only for PC. However, it is possible that if successful, this title could be aimed at other platforms as well.
