Upon release, Diablo 4 received mostly positive reviews. But now everything seems to have changed. At least on the Metacritic server, the game has been bombarded with reviews from irate players. What made them angry? The community does not like the patch that has been released so far, which weakened all classes and introduced a number of other changes that are very poorly received by the community of players.
Some consider this update to be one of the worst ever. Because of this, the title dropped significantly in the ratings. Diablo 4 even has a 2.5 rating on PS5, while on PC the game received a 2.9 rating from players. It seems to work best on Xbox, where the current value is 4.2, but the question is how active the fans are on that console. It is very likely that values will drop even more in the coming days. A bonfire talk is already scheduled to take place on Friday. I hope we learn more about this.
