GAMES
Exoprimal has just a few annoying flaws that aren’t a hidden gem. The core gameplay, which combines PvE and PvP, is unique and interesting, and even the absurd story caught our attention. However, the variety of gameplay on offer just doesn’t justify the price and is disappointing, especially given the outrageous monetization through battle passes and premium skins. However, as part of Gamepass, this game is a must-try.

Whether by yourself or with friends, this is one heck of a fun game that I recommend you at least give it a try.

Unfortunately, Exoprimal is limited by a bland storyline, a meager number of modes, and a question of longevity in the multiplayer part, but on the other hand, the novelty also offers an excellent class system and fun fights. While the aforementioned flaws may turn some people off, those who enjoy firing a grenade straight at a Stegosaurus hide will remember the game long after they put it down.

In general, I liked Exoprimal, but the severe lack of content and the weak progression system really let us down. The new one has potential and could make a fantastic game later, but it’s hard to justify the price right now.

Hey poor player
If you’re one of those people who don’t mind buying games for what they can be, then go ahead and get Exoprimal. The core gameplay is so well developed that I have no doubt that fans of shooters and team shooters will love what Capcom has created and will be able to ignore its problems, just like me. It remains to be seen if this enthusiasm will continue long after the game’s launch. As noted, Exoprimal has serious issues that need to be addressed before it becomes just another abandoned live service game.

Exoprimal is a prehistoric relic and a harsh but necessary lesson for developers who have spent too much time developing one well-received game after another. Future seasons may save the game, but I doubt players will last long enough for that to happen. And when I realize we could have had a new Dino Crisis instead…
