Developers Starbreeze recently revealed the exact release date for the long-running co-op action game Payday 3, which was set for September of this year. With the release date approaching, the authors are gradually revealing the various features and functionality that the game will bring. Listo said that the game a permanent internet connection is required by implementing a cross-play and cross-progression system. Even though the title will focus mainly on online and multiplayer, some players didn’t take the news very well. Some users are even calling for a boycott and cancellation of pre-orders on Reddit. However, this is unlikely to somehow affect the decision of the developers.
