Sony accepted Microsoft’s offer about the release of the show Call of Duty on PlayStation. Initially, the company refused to negotiate the deal directly, but now the impending deal to buy Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard has prompted the signing.

The potential exclusivity of Call of Duty has been one of the concerns of US regulators and is said to be Jim Ryan, head of PlayStation, in an attempt to block the acquisition. He noted Call of Duty’s original proposal until 2027 as inadequate in many wayseven Microsoft’s later attempt at a ten-year contract did not meet with his understanding.
At the moment, it is not clear if the ten-year agreement is the one that has been the most discussed recently. Similarly, Microsoft has made a commitment to work with some cloud service providers to resolve issues in the game streaming space.
Sony officials are not even positive about the possibility of including Call of Duty in their subscription service. PlayStation Plus along with the inclusion of games in Game Pass. In the case of newly released games, this will not happen until 2025, when the marketing agreement between Sony and Activision expires.
