Total War: Pharaoh made it clear in the opening shots that this title follows in the footsteps of Total War Saga: Troy. This probably wouldn’t be such a problem if Troy wasn’t a game that was able to succeed in the first place because it was offered to the community for free. It is assumed that one of the main factors of this work is the ever-changing weather, forcing the player to partially adjust their tactics in accordance with it.
The battlefield will actively change this aspect, so that heavy infantry will be easy in the sun. However, as soon as it rains, the light can trample it into the mud. However, battles will not be the only content of this work. As conceived by the developers, it should be a sandbox with all the consequences. Total War: Pharaoh is due out for PC in October.
