Independent developer Volod used City Sample from The Matrix Awakens tech demo and in Unreal Engine 5 started experimenting with superheroes. He created a superhero with powers Superman and moved it to the city, for which he used elements of the metropolis from the world of the Matrix. The hero can freely fly and throw objects.
Volod has been experimenting with Unreal Engine 5 for about a year now. He works at the Amber studio, where he works on film effects. The interest of the players in his project surprised him, and now he is thinking about creating a full-fledged game, albeit without being tied to the Superman brand. Now he is looking for people to participate in the project.
One thing is interesting about all this. The demos available below were created by Volod in two days. This confirms that Unreal Engine 5 works very well, and new technologies make it easier to develop games.

Update: We’ll try to turn this tech demo into a real game (with no connection to Superman’s intellectual property). If you’re an experienced concept artist, musician, 3D character artist, or UE4 environment artist and would like to join the ride in your spare time, please email me. pic.twitter.com/X0dcJoDPHO
