Less than two months before the annual Gamescom in Cologne, the period begins when small and large companies announce their participation or non-participation. Already in April, we learned, for example, that Nintendo would return this year, which was not there last year. Recently, 11 bit studio announced that they will present Frostpunk 2 and The Alters to journalists at Gamescom. But now comes the big news in the form of participation confirmation Xbox and Bethesda.
Both companies will showcase their games on the show floor, just like they did last year. But we do not know the exact composition yet, we will find out later. On the contrary, a third of console manufacturers, represented by Sony, will once again miss the German trade fair.
Gamescom kicks off on Tuesday, August 22 with a presentation by Geoff Keighley at the Opening Ceremony. The fair itself will be held from 23 to 27 August. You can buy tickets here.
