A story-driven adventure in a creepy and melancholy world, a sequel to the great Oxenfree, a tactical action game, a Nintendo Switch exclusive or the well-known deuce from PlayStation on PC. Here are some interesting games that will be released in July. Let’s take a closer look at them all one by one.
GULT
7/6 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox
We start with a terrifying story in a haunted and melancholic world where your nightmares come true. Gylt was originally created by Spanish studio Tequila Works as a Google Stadia exclusive. However, after the end of the cloud service, the authors of Rime decided to transfer the action adventure to both computers and consoles. You will have to hide from terrifying creatures or face them, overcoming the difficulties of this sinful world as a young girl Sally. Similarly, you must decide whether to face your fear or run away from it.
OXENFREE II: LOST SIGNALS
7/12 on PC, PlayStation, Switch, iOS and Android with Czech subtitles
Let’s dwell on the features. Five years after the events of the original Oxenfree, electromagnetic waves begin to appear in the small coastal town of Kamena. TVs turn on and off. Planes lose radar. Radios cannot transmit via static electricity. All this prompts new protagonist Riley, an environmental researcher, to return to her hometown to investigate. What she finds is more than she bargained for. The situation is aggravated by a sect trying to open a portal between the worlds. Remember that your choice will affect who Riley becomes. For example, you can strike up a friendship with old acquaintances from high school, but at the same time you can not pay attention to a lost fisherman in trouble. Everything you do will have consequences.
EXOPRIMAL
July 14 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox
The zombies are already tired! Dinosaurs are now roaring, according to Capcom, and they’re coming with the online team event Exoprimal, in which you’ll face dinosaurs wearing a high-tech exosuit. If you don’t mind a hair-raising game and you’re mainly looking for action, then this might be something for you.
Jagged Alliance 3
July 14 on PC
The Jagged Alliance tactical RPG series returns after 24 years with a third installment that aims to delight fans and new players alike. They are in command of a group of mercenaries in the fictional country of Grand Chien, which is at the epicenter of chaos after the disappearance of the president and government of a paramilitary group known as the Legion. You are waiting for tactical turn-based battles, recruiting new members, conquering new territories and deciding the fate of the country. You can enjoy the campaign alone and with friends in online co-op.
PIKMIN 4
July 21 on Nintendo Switch
Even the fourth part of the strategic-logical series with cute creatures named Pikmins will not give rest to the brain. Your task again is to free these adorable little flower-like creatures of different types and colors. On the new planet, not only a new adventure awaits you, but also a helper dog that can break obstacles, carry heavy objects and carry Pikmin on his back. Pleases and also pleases the opportunity to play at night. Yes, Pikmin should not return to their base after dark.
REMAINS II
July 25 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
It’s time for action in the sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes. The remnants of humanity will fight new deadly creatures from terrifying worlds. You can explore the unknown depths and prevent evil from destroying reality itself, either alone or in co-op with two friends. We are drawn to the combination of methodical and hectic firefight / melee combat with insidious enemies and battles with big bosses.
RATCHET & CLANK: RIFT APART
26.07 on PC with Czech subtitles
Dimensional travel, fun fights and jumping with Ratchet, the Clan and their new team is finally available to PC players. The goal is to capture the evil emperor from another reality. You will need to jump at breakneck speed between eventful worlds and beyond. All this in a very decent graphical environment, which we already liked two years ago on the PlayStation 5 console.
F1 MANAGER 2023
Fans of Ferrari and other teams who are not doing very well in F1 right now can try to do it themselves. The second part of this manager from the authors of Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo will make you the boss of the team. You are in charge of everything, including strategy, driver selection and vehicle upgrades.
