The article was created as part of a paid collaboration: On the occasion of the 25th anniversary, CZC.cz has prepared an interesting infographic called “Czech Boy Diagnosis 2023”.
“Games are a matter of the heart for us. When we’re not crawling through hellish dungeons ourselves and counting Valorant headshots, we manage to create over 8500 gaming PCs for gamers every year. So we know very well what the Czech player looks like, what he likes and what he likes to play the most. And so we gave it together in one infographic“ reports the CPC.
According to the data, there is a clear male predominance among gamers in the Czech Republic: there are 3 players for every 1 female player.
Even the most popular genres of games do not break traditional ideas – they are clearly in the first place. first person shooters (e.g. DOOM, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty) falling behind them action games (e.g. Uncharted, The Last of Us, GTA V) and we can find it in third place. RPG (e.g. The Witcher 3, Diablo 4, Elden Ring).
As far as slot machines are concerned, 61% Czech gamers prefer desktop PC, which, however, is not intended exclusively for the game. However, if someone chooses a laptop for gaming, then you should 79% choose games.
It’s a bit amazing, isn’t it? only 15% of players surveyed prefer the console and almost every second person plays on the PlayStation.
Czech children are very fond of games – more than half of them spend more than 10 hours a week playing games, a quarter even in 20 hours!
And if you think that gamers are not demanding, then you are greatly mistaken. Every second person wants to upgrade their gaming machine, and a third of them spend at least 5,000 kroons per year on new equipment.
And what are the players actually buying? The best-selling PC lineup of 2022 was a gaming PC with AMD Ryzen 5600 processor, GeForce 3060ti graphics, 16 GB RAM and HDD with 250 GB SSD k. It’s a decent machine at a decent price of about 20,000 CZK that worked with everything that came out last year and this year will not be ashamed either.
And if the monitor 55% of gamers are drawn to a game with a refresh rate above 60Hz.because they need the smoothest possible image when playing.
And finally, a question about the backlight – 9 out of 10 players want their machine to play all suits. Only 7% of those surveyed prefer their non-illuminated gaming equipment!
Among the necessary equipment, we can find the golden trio – mouse, keyboard And headphones. Half of the players choose i for their table special gaming chair! On the other hand, the least common among players is a flash drive, a website, and a VR headset.
As for the most popular brands of gaming peripherals, gamers most often chose Logitech. He came in second with 41% of the vote. HyperX and our CZC.Gaming tools.
