Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth is the first game set in the dystopian world of a Ridley Scott film in 25 years. The story takes place between the first movie and Blade Runner 2049, after Black Out. What does Blade Runner do when he has no more replicants to hunt?

The protagonist also reveals that he got lucky during the Black Out. Many people lost a lot, fortunately he just lost his job. “But now they want me back,” he adds.

The trailer is reminiscent of the style and typical sci-fi setting of the first Blade Runner. The name will be placed great attention to history And development led by Chelsea Hashwho had previously worked on Ashes of the Sun and What Remains of Edith Finch.

Hash has been leading a relatively small team for just over a year and has developers with experience in Hyper Light Drifter, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, We Are OFK, Skylanders, Below and more. Several employees have previously been involved in creating visual effects for live performances and sets for artists such as Childish Gambino, Farrell, Sufjan Stevens and Sophie Tukker. Annapurna’s in-house team should also draw on this experience when developing Blade Runner.

We’ll find out more in the coming months. Hopefully it will soon become clear what genre Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth will actually be in.
