Success Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from Respawn with Electronic Arts and a lot of interest in the recently introduced Star Wars Outlaws from the creators of The Division at Ubisoft Massive studio turns its attention to another project from a galaxy far, far away. Ambitious Action Adventure Star Wars Eclipse was announced by French studio Quantic Dream back in 2021 at The Game Awards, but we still don’t know much about it.

There have been reports of problems with development before. Other reports say otherwise, with a release scheduled between 2027 and 2028. According to sources Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming is speaking to right now, the release should in 2026.

Everything should depend on whether the studio manages to recruit new employees. No one contacts Quantic Dream because of allegations of workplace abuse. At the same time, Star Wars Eclipse is a big project that needs reinforcements from the writing team behind Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain.

By the way, this is not all from the world of Star Wars:

  • Star Wars: Rogue Ones – Ubisoft Massive
  • Amy Hennig game – Skydance Media
  • Unannounced FPS – Respawn Entertainment
  • Star Wars: Eclipse – “Quantic Dream”
  • Knights of the Old Republic Remake – Saber Interactive
  • Star Wars: Hunters – Zynga
  • Unannounced Strategy – Respawn Entertainment
