Veteran studios Bohemia Interactive, Crytek and Funcom found new studio

Developers who have held important positions in the past at studios such as Bohemia Interactive, Crytek, Funcom and Ubisoft Reflections have jointly founded a new studio called Red Rover Interactive. The newly formed enterprise will be divided between two branches in Oslo, Norway and Newcastle, England. The studio currently has 17 employees and is currently recruiting for a number of different positions.

  • Sebastian Zimmermann – Art Director (Nordeus, Jagex, Crytek)

The company has already managed to secure an initial investment of $5 million. Studio head Fred Richardson revealed that they want to use the overall multiplayer experience in Red Rover Interactive, which they will try to use to catapult the survival genre in a new direction.
