The fantasy event Immortals of Aveum, last seen with a new preview at the Summer Game Fest event, will be delayed. The developers from the Ascendant studio announced this in a message on the official website. Studio head and game director Bret Robbins admitted that he appreciates the inspiration that the writers have accumulated over the past weeks. He highlighted, for example response to a playable sample, which was available at the aforementioned Summer Game Fest. However, to achieve the planned vision and quality, he said, it will take several weeks more than originally planned. Specifically it was rescheduled from July 20 to August 22.
Robbins also promised that players can expect new content and demos in the coming weeks. Immortals of Aveum will be released on PC (Steam), as well as on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Although the Ascendant studio itself is independent, the game is also created with the support of Electronic Arts publishing housewhere the aforementioned Bret Robbins was involved in the development of the first Dead Space as creative director in the past.
