NetherRealm Studios wants to please the Mortal Kombat community not only with improved combat and new systems, but also interesting acquaintances of fighters. You’ll hear and see them after character selection, and they’ll transition into combat nicely.
Some of these initial conversations are shown in the video from GameSpot (at the very top). This proves that the transition is smooth and can be the fun part before any bloody fight.
In the second video you can admire the fight itself. He dynamic, fast and no less bloody. Confirmed playable heroes include Sub-Zero, Kitana, Kenshi, and Louie Kang. He took care of the revival of the Mortal Kombat universe, and the developers created a new combat system, game modes and fatalities.
There is also a system Cameo fighters. This is a special set of fighters that are not fully playable, but can help you in combat. Cameo’s fighters include Jax, Sonya Blade, Goro, and Stryker.
Just Cameo Fighter along with brutal fatalities shows the latest video. I would like to point out here that Cameo Fighters can use fatalities. Another nice detail change in time of day for individual phases.
Speaking of fighters, according to the latest statement from creative director Ed Boon. Stryker, Cassie Cage and Jackie Briggs will not be playable heroes. The last two named characters are part of the Kombat Kids in Mortal Kombat 10 and cannot be in Mortal Kombat 1 due to them not being born yet.
A list of fighters that should be in the game also appeared on the Internet. So far, this is 19 heroes out of 24. Consider this an assumption.
